Darwin Family Day Care now services Darwin, Palmerston and Rural Area's.

Darwin Family Day Care Inc has been providing quality childcare for Territory families since 1977. The scheme is accredited through the National Childcare Accreditation Council of Australia. We have a Management Committee, which consists of Carers, Parents and members of the community and is responsible for policies and strategic planning.  The operational management is undertaken by the Director and supported by Area Coordinators and Administrative staff.

Darwin Family Day Care is a community based, not for profit organisation and is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services.

Darwin Family Day Care is also the service provider for:

· Home based child care from the Defence Community Organisation.

· The Parenting Puzzle a family education program. The program provides free of charge hands-on workshops. Workshops can be designed to meet specific parent/carer needs.

· Breathing Space a program to help families in difficulty or crisis access child care resources.

 

Darwin Family Day Care Inc is a Child Safe Organisation.
