What is Baby Playgroup? | The Benefits of Baby Playgroup | Session Times
The Parenting Puzzle Baby Playgroup is for babies aged 0 to 12 year olds and their parents or guardian. The playgroup is an opportunity for parents and children to come together to interact and socialize with one another, whilst exploring activities and experiences that aim to encourage self-esteem, respect, independence, creativity, curiosity and enjoyment. This regular weekly get together, also allows the parents to mix and share with other parents of children at similar stages and development. To share their ideas, experiences and worries, to learn from each other about the best ways to care for children, to support each other and to make new friends. Many long term friendships have been established at the playgroup sessions for both parent and child. The Parenting Puzzle Baby Playgroup aims to create an atmosphere that is caring, relaxed and inviting. It endeavors to make playgroups flexible through both formal and informal experiences in order to meet the needs and interests of the parents and children. The program consists of a broad range of activities, inclusive of multiculturalism, covering the different areas of development and play.
