Looking for childcare can be a daunting task.  All families want their children to be in an environment that is caring, educational and one that promotes health and hygiene.  With an increasing number of childcare options, Darwin Family Day Care offers flexible, quality, small group care for children in a home environment. 

 The perception that Family Day Care is a backyard operation is long gone.  Family Day Care provides a professional service that meets National Quality Assurance standards and all carers are registered.  To become registered carers must have a Police Criminal Check, Senior First Aid, a home environment that meets stringent health and safety guidelines and undertake a training course.  They are also required to have on-going training   and are monitored and supported by a Coordination Unit.  The Coordination Unit also acts as administration support assisting with placement of children with carers, Child Care Benefit, enrolments and supporting families.

 When a family has a place with a Darwin Family Day Care carer, the weekly fee is based on the contracted hours of care, minus the eligible Child Care Benefit.  The hours of care are also flexible with after hours care available, this makes Darwin Family Day Care an affordable option that can cater to individual families needs.
